Yes, by appointment. We are a working farm with home-school commitments and livestock guardian dogs that take their job seriously; be sure to make arrangements prior as situations do arise that prevent visits.
Safety and Bio-security measures are in place and very important to us; we will have instructions and protocols for you to follow when you come!
Great question! Some cultures really enjoy the pungent aroma that can occur with some goat milk and related products and that is great for those that enjoy it!
Here at Front Porch Farm we are committed to sweet, fresh and creamy milk -and take many steps to ensure there is no "goaty" taste or smells. Our milk is quickly processed into sanitized stainless steel holding tank and chilled, reducing off tastes. Our bucks (male goats) are not close to our doe barn thereby reducing the chances of the does picking up the scent and expressed in the milk! Further, the health of our herd is our top priority, which ensures lovely milk!
