Sitting on our front porch, drinking coffee and talking about things we wished for as a child or missed was the inspiration for our little hobby farm. Add lactose intolerance and a great goat mentor, here we are... chasing dreams and having fun. While the work is hard, we are enjoying our little adventure! What could possibly go wrong?
ABOUT FRONT PORCH FARM
We are a small state-licensed goat milk dairy located in Southern Maine. We currently make fresh goat cheeses and yogurt from our lovely pasteurized milk and sell our products at the local farmer's market.
We raise ADGA registered Nubian goats, pigs for handling the by-products from the dairy, and offer duck and chicken eggs. Our favorite products to offer are chevre, greek-style yogurt and feta. As time and milk allows, you can also find fudge, caramels, bread and soap in the line up!

We take pride in the care and keeping of our animals. We have a great team to keep these critters healthy! We have a clean, tested herd and follow our veterinary protocol along with State of Maine licensing requirements. While our farm is not certified organic, we use best practices for our animals, ourselves and the land we are entrusted with - our aim is sustainability and responsibility
